About Us
We are in Upstate Area of South Carolina. Our members are Filipinos and American families, from Greenville/Spartanburg and nearby areas, and as far as Atlanta and North Carolina. Originating from 5 families in 1980’s, we have grown to about 300 families in 2006. Our aim is to excite, inspire, and encourage participation of fellow Filipinos, in preserving and teaching our traditions and culture to our foreign friends and families. Let us not forget our tradition and culture.
We would like to provide a place to foster our culture and heritage and not to distant ourselves from our traditions even if we are physically away from our homeland, the Philippines. Although we are far away from our country, we continue to share and teach these customs to our children who are born in our native land as well as children who are born here in the United States. We also extend these traditions to our fellow Filipinos with foreign families.
Our group continuously helped Gawad-Kalinga, Hospicio de San Jose and the Battered Woman Cause and Rehabilitation.
